Description
The Huckleberry Gold are mid to late-season potatoes with 110-140 days to maturity. The Huckleberry Gold has purple skin with gold flesh. The flesh texture is buttery, creamy, and firm. The Huckleberry Gold can be harvested early for baby potatoes or late for larger spuds. The large, sturdy plants can handle some stress and produce 5 to 7 tubers. Some growers consider the yield as not high as some varieties but well worth the space. The tubers have a naturally low glycemic index, high in antioxidants and great for diabetics. Perfect as mashed, baked fries, or baby potatoes on the grill. USDA Certified.
